Programs are designed to actively promote your child’s natural sense of creativity and discovery with fun learning experiences in the unmatched setting at Birmingham Botanical Gardens!

June 17 - 21 Growing through Yoga For children entering grades K-2 Through themed yoga classes children find their inner and outer strength while being creative and expressing themselves in yoga poses matching discoveries in The Gardens inspired by nature, group activities, art projects and mindfulness and breathing exercises. Healthy snack included! For children entering grades K-2 Let's celebrate your favorite American Girl characters with daily creative art projects, music, stories, nature walks and homemade snacks as we explore the beauty of The Gardens. ____________
June 3 - 7 Cooperation Not Competition: What We Can Learn From Nature For children entering grades 3-6 There are lessons we can learn from studying the symbiotic relations in nature. Our goals are learning, teamwork and enjoyment as we play and create cooperative games. ____________ June 17 - 21 Southern Summer Chefs (Parents’ Request)
For children entering grades K-2 Join us for five days full of harvesting, smelling, tasting, creating, and cooking at The Gardens! Create a cookbook, paint an apron, and plant your very own mini kitchen garden to take home so you can have fun cooking and tasting all summer! New- create southern chef inspired art! ____________ July 8 - 12 Ahoy! Pirates & Mermaids For 4 and 5 year olds entering fall preschool programs Discover faraway lands ashore and collect a scavenger hunt treasure trove of art, crafts, literary lore, and science explorations while walking the plank of fun n’games! eate southern chef inspired art!

For children entering grades K-2 Go on a Garden treasure hunt to find plants like chocolate mint and lavender to put a fun twist on sweet treats you can learn to make all summer! Create an apron, cookbook collection, and plant a mini kitchen garden to take home! Discover structures including plants, bridges, and sculptures. Our discoveries will inspire us to build using legos. Art and nature crafts included.
