Before there was Oprah, before there was Dr. Laura or Judge Judy, there was Ann Landers. For decades, the renowned advice columnist answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples, and a multitude of others in need of advice. No topic was off-limits, including housekeeping au naturel, sports equipment in the boudoir, and other hot topics. But whatever the subject, Landers always regaled her readers with direct, insightful, and often humorously honest responses.

Dolores Hydock stars in the one-woman play, where we find Ann Landers in her Chicago apartment, struggling to write the column that would become one of the most famous she would ever compose. Come spend an evening with the woman who seemed like family to millions of readers who had breakfast with her -- or at least her advice -- every morning.
