Lunch & Learn: Backyard Birds (Webinar)

Lunch & Learn: Backyard Birds (Webinar)

Led by Greg Harber, Alabama Audubon

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 | 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Free and open to the public!

Preregistration required; registration will close two hours prior to webinar start time. If you have not received a confirmation email containing your link to join the webinar by the time registration closes, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible for assistance.

Join Greg Harber of Alabama Audubon as he discusses plants and habitats that will attract birds—and other pollinators!—to your yard. Attendees will learn about the best bird feeders, houses and plants to encourage feathered visitors, as well as what to know about applying chemicals to your landscape when wanting to invite birds.

Hosted by the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, the webinar is part of the 2021 Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Series at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and is presented in partnership with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System; the Alabama Green Industry Training Center; the Jefferson County Department of Health; Jefferson County Commission; City of Leeds, Alabama; City of Birmingham Stormwater Management; and the Storm Water Management Authority, Inc.

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the webinar. You will receive just one reminder the day of the event, so be sure to mark your calendar. Thank you for joining us for this fun virtual presentation!
