Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open!
A cherished place of respite for our community and visitors from around the world for more than 55 years, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open to all, and we look forward to your visit. The Gardens are currently open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing. Face masks are required when interacting with others in the Gardens and for entering the Garden Center. For more information and guidelines for visiting safely, click here. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Free Admission ($5 suggested donation)


 Make it a date night or bring friends and family, and don't forget your blanket!

Please note that no pets or outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Admission is free, but a $5 suggested donation benefits the ongoing stewardship and enhancement of the Gardens, educational programs, and outreach activities. A preferred seating area will be available for Members of the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, with each membership allowing two patrons seating until 8 p.m. Members must check in in Blount Plaza to receive a wristband.

Bring a blanket or low-profile lawn chair, and find a spot on the lawn to enjoy the film.
