Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open!
After a three-month closure, Birmingham Botanical Gardens reopened to the public on Monday, June 15. A cherished place of respite for our community and visitors from around the world for more than 55 years, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open to all, and we look forward to your visit. The Gardens are currently open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing. Face masks are required when interacting with others in the Gardens and for entering the Garden Center. For more information and guidelines for visiting safely, click here. We hope to see you soon at the Gardens!

Major Gifts

Major gifts are transformative gifts that have a significant impact at the Gardens, keeping one of Birmingham's most important and beloved cultural institutions growing while also strengthening our community and enriching the lives of all who live here and all who visit. To join us in our mission to protect, nurture, and share the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, please contact Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens Director of Development Penney Hartline at [email protected] or 205.414.3950, ext. 103, or Donor Relations Officer Drew Rickel at [email protected] or 205.414.3950, ext. 102.

We thank you for your investing in this urban oasis. Our success—and the success of the Gardens—depends on the support of those who value this special place and the natural world as a whole.
