Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open!
After a three-month closure, Birmingham Botanical Gardens reopened to the public on Monday, June 15. A cherished place of respite for our community and visitors from around the world for more than 55 years, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open to all, and we look forward to your visit. The Gardens are currently open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing. Face masks are required when interacting with others in the Gardens and for entering the Garden Center. For more information and guidelines for visiting safely, click here. Join the Friends for a free guided Garden Highlights tour and a free Learn More About Volunteering tour as we celebrate National Public Gardens Week! Hour-long tours will start at the main entrance of the Gardens.

11 a.m. | Weekdays during National Public Gardens Week: May 8 and May 11–15

Learn More About Volunteering tours
9:30 a.m. | Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14

Guided Garden Highlights and other specialty tours are also available throughout the year.
