Birmingham Botanical Gardens is currently closed.
Due to the current public health state of emergency, the Birmingham Park and Recreation Board voted March 16 to close the Gardens and Garden Center, with an unspecified date for reopening, in an effort to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens programs, events, and activities have been canceled or postponed through April 30. Please check back for updates. We extend our sincere hopes for the good health and well-being of the entire community.
