Save the date for the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Gala in the Gardens! Our Antiques at the Gardens weekend kicks off with this black-tie gala, an enchanting evening under the stars sponsored by Jones Walker LLP and ServisFirst Bank.

The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with an honoree celebration in honor of Sallie and Jim Johnson, who have spent decades championing Birmingham’s cultural and educational institutions, including the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens. This event is separately ticketed, ticket link below.

Our main event begins at 7 p.m., with guests being transported into a delightful evening as they arrive through our garden entryway created by Father Nature Landscapes, with elements sourced from Architectural Heritage.

Gala attendees also enjoy early shopping with our 24 dealers, offering The show also welcomes celebrated antiques dealers from across the nation offering exquisitely curated antiques, fine art, vintage and fine jewelry, silver, rugs and textiles, home decor, and garden accessories.

ADVANCE GALA AND LECTURE TICKET PICK-UP
We strongly encourage you to pick up your tickets in advance to avoid delays

When: September 29 until October 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens Office, second floor of the Garden Center.
Will call is also available at the show.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2: GALA IN THE GARDENS

PARKING: We recommend carpool and/or ride share services.

Valet parking: A limited amount will be available at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens main entrance. Sponsored by the Scout Guide.

Self parking will NOT be available at the Gardens the night of the Gala.
Self parking and shuttle available at the Birmingham Zoo.
• Follow the signs and look for the white tent at the entrance.
• Golf cart shuttles by Safeday Transport will run from 6 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
• You will be taken to a special back entryway to the rose garden created by Father Nature Landscapes and walk through to the Gala.
• Please take time to visit the beautiful main entrance during the evening!
