Fall Birding in the Gardens
Fall is an excellent time for bird watching in the Gardens! Southbound migrants and early winter arrivals alike are readily observed as they partake of the feast of nature’s bounty. You are invited to spend the morning with current secretary and long-time member of the Alabama Audubon Society Greg Harber on the trails in the Kaul Wildflower Garden in search of the thrushes, vireos, warblers, tanagers, sparrows and finches sure to be on the move and in need of a meal this time of year! Participants will meet in the gazebo in the Kaul Wildflower Garden. You may bring your own field guide. Binoculars and a limited number of field guides will be provided.
Location: Kaul Wildflower Garden
