Join us for a delightful Harvest-to-Table dinner following our Native Plant Conference! Enjoy a thoughtfully curated plant-based buffet prepared by local Chef Ama, featuring farm-fresh and seasonal ingredients. Unwind and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts, and celebrate the power of plants—both in the landscape and on the plate.
About Chef Ama
Chef Ama “Ifágbàmílà” Shambulia is a passionate advocate for whole food, plant-based nutrition and holistic well-being. Rooted in a love for food, cooking, and gardening from her upbringing in Los Angeles, Chef Ama now shares her expertise in Birmingham, AL, through A Beautiful Life Enterprises LLC. As a chef, community food educator, and “herban” homesteader, she partners with organizations dedicated to food and health, bringing a deep commitment to nourishment and sustainability.
*Native Plant Conference registration does not include Harvest-to-Table dinner. Separate registration is required.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds (minus a $15 processing fee) will be given for Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens programs priced at $25 or more if notification is made at least 10 business days prior to class start date. (You are always welcome to send another person under your registration if you cannot attend.) Transfers may be made to programs of equal value at no additional fee. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to lack of participation or other unforeseen circumstances. Please note that programs are held rain or shine; in extreme weather conditions, programs may be canceled for your safety and the safety of staff and volunteers. If we cancel a program for any of these reasons, we will issue a full refund.
