In front of the Conservatory just beyond the shade of the crape myrtle walk stretches the oval Formal Lawn, site of our annual plant sales and other special events.
Take a Stroll
In mid-summer, the gravel path that encircles the lawn is showered with the pink blooms of ‘Carolina Beauty’ crape myrtles. To the north and south of the expansive lawn are ample benches to relax and soak in the peaceful sound of splashing water from the iron urn fountains that overflow into the pool below.
