Guided Garden Tours
Our guided tours for spring of 2026 will begin Tuesday, March 3 and end Thursday, May 21. All tours last approximately one hour.
Japanese Garden Tour
Wednesdays | 1 p.m.
Learn about the principles of traditional Japanese garden design as you walk a garden of year-round beauty. Garden features include an authentic karesansui (dry landscape garden), Toshinan teahouse, and bamboo walk. This trail includes varied terrain with gravel paths.
Maximum of 40 participants
Central Gardens Tour
Tuesdays | 11 a.m. or Thursdays | 1 p.m.
An introduction to the specialty gardens that make up the core of the 67.5 acre botanical gardens. Tour highlights include the Conservatory, Bruno Vegetable Garden and Herb Terrace, pollinator garden, and Dunn Formal Rose Garden. Walking paths are paved with minimum incline.

How to Book
Complete the request form below to book your tour. A staff member will contact you within three business days to confirm your requested date or offer an alternative.
Please note: Request forms must be submitted at least one month before your desired tour date. Group size can not be adjusted within a week of the tour date.
Pricing
Tour cost is based on group size:
- 10-15 people: $125
- 16-20 people: $175
- 21-25 people: $225
- 26-30 people: $275
- 31-35 people: $325
- 36-40 people: $375
Payment & Confirmation
Once a Garden Guide is assigned to your date, we’ll reach out to confirm your tour and collect payment. We prefer card payments, which can be taken over the phone.
Your tour is not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled tour date. Refunds are not available for groups that cancel within a week of their scheduled tour date. We reserve the right to reschedule group tours due to extreme weather conditions for your safety and the safety of staff and volunteers.
