Legacy Giving

You can help us perpetuate the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens and all that it means to our community and region by including the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens in your estate planning. Planned gifts to the Friends ensure that this botanical treasure will remain a place of beauty and source of inspiration to all who visit for generations to come.

Every gift makes an impact. A recent bequest from the late Southern Living magazine Editor at Large Philip Morris, who led the way in curating Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ distinctive sculpture collection, paved the way for the new landmark sign for the Gardens at the intersection of Cahaba and Lane Park roads.

Become a member of the Perennial Legacy Giving Circle by notifying us that you:

  • have made a planned gift that benefits the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens;
  • have included the Friends in a future bequest;
  • or would like to make a gift of $10,000 or more to the Friends’ endowment fund.

Membership in the Perennial Legacy Giving Circle is voluntary and without obligation. If you choose, you will be recognized on the Birmingham Botanical Gardens Donor Wall and acknowledged wherever we list members of the Perennial Legacy Giving Circle.
