Fall Plant Sale 2025: Member-Only Shopping
Enjoy priority shopping at our popular Fall Plant Sale and pick up your annual Member Plant Gift as a Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens member!
Members will enjoy first dibs on hundreds of plants, including natives, perennials, herbs, tropicals, ferns, camellias, trees, and shrubs, many of which have been nurtured at the Gardens by the Friends’ dedicated volunteer growing groups.
The sale, which offers a wonderful opportunity to gain expert advice from seasoned gardeners—many of whom have trained under the Jefferson County Master Gardener program—will be open to the public on Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6. Proceeds support the Friends’ mission: to protect, nurture, and share the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Bring a portable cart or wagon • Check or credit card only
Don’t have a portable cart or wagon? Visit our membership tent and renew or upgrade at the Supporter ($250) level or above, and we’ll loan you a folding wagon for your use at the sale.
The Fall Plant Sale will take place rain or shine. Parking is limited. Overflow parking will be available at the Birmingham Zoo: use the Gardens’ Lawler Gate on Cahaba Rd.
