The Library at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a place to explore nature, connect with community, and learn about our environment. Our diverse collection of gardening, nature, horticulture, and children’s resources allow visitors to take the experience and inspiration of the Gardens home. A member of the Jefferson County Library Cooperative (JCLC), patrons can access our collection with their library cards. And as a program of the Friends of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, the Library is committed to environmental education and cultivating a passion for plants by empowering individuals to continue the gardens’ mission beyond its grounds.
Need a JCLC library card but live out-of-county? Members of the Friends who reside outside Jefferson County enjoy $35 off a JCLC card. Stop by today and dig into our collection—your knowledge is sure to grow.
